好色先生TV University student Chelsea May landed an internship in her hometown this summer that鈥檚 opening doors to wider opportunities.

A junior majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in business administration, Chelsea is interning as a fleet analyst for MPLX, a limited-partnership of in Findlay, Ohio.

Her role focuses on project management, communication, and data analytics to ensure that pipeline employees are equipped with the resources and vehicles they need in the field.

Growing up in Findlay, Chelsea often passed by Marathon鈥檚 impressive headquarters downtown. 鈥淚 always wanted to get a chance to work inside,鈥 she said.

Marathon has not disappointed. She鈥檚 networked with people throughout the company, learning about the varied aspects of the business and the vast career opportunities across the country.

鈥淚 have the utmost gratitude for my co-workers and all the kindness and support they鈥檝e given me throughout my internship so far. They have allowed me to grow and pursue my passion within their company while helping me dig into their core values to really make a difference.鈥

Chelsea also participated in Pipeline 101 training, getting hands-on experience with pipeline equipment and tools.

鈥淚 believe this internship will help me decide what I truly want to do with my engineering degree and what legacy I want to leave behind,鈥 she said.

She credits ONU engineering professors Laurie Laird and Dr. Abby Clark for using their alumni connections to help her gain an internship that matched her interests.

鈥淭he alumni connection at ONU is stronger than at any other university I looked into. Professors and alumni truly want you to succeed and are always presenting opportunities for you to shine and to get out there and discover what you want to do.鈥
